WTB: New Title 'Casual Games'

I don't know who coined this phrase, but they were seriously misinformed. Now, like a virus, the title has spread everywhere. What does 'casual' even mean?
Dictionary.com says:
cas·u·al [kazh-oo-uhl] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –adjective
1.happening by chance; fortuitous: a casual meeting.
2.without definite or serious intention; careless or offhand; passing: a casual remark.
3.seeming or tending to be indifferent to what is happening; apathetic; unconcerned: a casual, nonchalant air.
4.appropriate for wear or use on informal occasions; not dressy: casual clothes; casual wear.
5.irregular; occasional: a casual visitor.
6.accidental: a casual mishap.
7.Obsolete. uncertain.
–noun
8.a worker employed only irregularly.
9.a soldier temporarily at a station or other place of duty, and usually en route to another station.

I think whomever decided that 'casual gaming' would refer to 'non-hardcore' games, thought that they meant:
without definite or serious intention; careless or offhand; passing: a casual remark.

I would disagree however. What makes a game 'serious' vs 'careless'? What makes a person playing Halo different from someone playing Bejewled? Have they not seen the voracity with which people play on pogo.com? On xbobx live? I would say that dedication and level of dedication is anything but 'casual'.

I dont really blog. I fully expect to abandon this later. Or forget that i even have it, like i did today. But what the hell.
I always have things i want to complain about. Usually game related things. Cuz i like thinking about those things most, i suppose.
And i am not going to be totally, inscrutably correct in my typing. Not gonna capatailise 'i'. Not gonna use too many '. They slow me down.
Speaking of slowing down.
WoW, stop making me wait for stuff. I pay you. I dont want to fly on stupid birds for hours. I get that you dont want instant transport... but come on. It takes me forever to get somewhere, just to be told to go back to where i was. I dont want realism. I want game.
I ran out of steam on this, and now it's just a whine.
Oh well.
